The electronic variable speed is obtained via a variable frequency drive that converts 1-phase input to 3-phase output, so even at low settings you will get an incredible amount of torque. The digital readout gives you an accurate speed at all times, and any fine adjustments are made electronically. The Revo 18|36 offers 18'' swing over bed and 36'' between centers, with 4-1/2'' of quill travel.
It comes with a spur drive and a live center with both cone and cup tips. The headstock slides easily to the right end of the bed for outboard turning of larger bowls and platters.
